    Question about v4/v5 compiler compatibility

Does anyone have an idea of when it would be a good time to start using
the new compiler for stuff? Have anyhosts put the new VM on yet?

    Question about v4/v5 compiler compatibility

We have, but not in a production environment yet.

We're still beating it up to see what else breaks.

We began rolling it to production but put it on "pause" when the payment
processing problem was reported. We can't very well ask customers to
manually capture when we advertise a product that does it automatically. I
think VM 5.02 will take it off pause. We are still installing for customers
that will either not be processing for a while because they will be busy
building their store or customers that don't plan to use a gateway.
Basically just playing it by ear.

It's not related to upgrading or Merchant at all, it's for standalone
products and scripts. Upon reflection I figure it's best to do what
happened before- have scripts that will work 100% in version 4
environments, and then have a new area for scripts that are for version
        5 (like uncompiled/compiled scripts)
