    Hello,

I am attempting to complete my installation of Miva 5 with a few =
    problems...

On the first attempt I believe I select incorrect directory address for =
my images and modules. When the installation finished I got the =
    following error.

    "Runtime error in 5.00/lib/db.mvc @ [00000003:00001d8c]: =
lib/dbeng/create_domain.mv: Line 460: MvDO: Unable to open =
'/Merchant2/5.00/features/aff/aff_db.mvc': No such file or directory "

On my second attempt I believe the problem was that the Table 'Domain' =
already existed because of my first attempt. How can I reset the =
MivaSQL database so that I may continue my installation??? Here is the =
    error I received...

    Runtime error in 5.00/lib/db.mvc @ [00000003:000004c0]: =
lib/dbeng/create_domain.mv: Line 29: MvQUERY: Table 'Domain' already =
    exists Fatal Error =20
    =20

Miva Merchant has encountered a fatal error and is unable to =
continue. The following information may assist you in determining the =
    cause of the error:=20

    Error Code: MER-DBE-CDM-00001 =20
Description: Table 'Domain' already exists =20
    Other Information: =20
    =20
    =20
    =20

    Thanks for the help!!!

That error is caused by an incomplete upload of Merchant 5.

Since the install has been unsuccessful, you could just
delete the entire contents of the mivadata directory and
start over; that is assuming you don't have a Merchant 4
store in there sharing the directory. :-)

      Hi Kevin, =20

You will need to go into your data directory and remove the Merchant5
folder and the merchdb.dat file. You should then be able to re-run
      setup.

      Regards,

Empresa 5.02 - Is It Safe?

Looks like the long awaited 5.02 is finally out. Does anybody see any
release notes? I would like to make sure the problems with the earlier
version are all fixed before implementing it. True it couldn't be much worse
but I certainly don't want to have to explain away a different set of
        problems.

No release notes on the FTP site that I can see.
