This is sorta embarrassing to ask... but can someone run an uncompiled
MvCall'd script of ours through a Miva Script Compiler?

We write & run uncompiled scripts, and the time it takes for one lengthy
parsing file in particular seems unacceptably slow.

Before we invest in the client compiler and upgrade our older version of
Empressa (and scores of subsequent parsing files) to run .mvc, I'd love to
gauge how much of a performance difference that compiling this particular
    file would make.

Any assistance would be immensely appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    - Keith

    Hi Keith,

Just send it over... I can compile it for you and if you want put it on my
server so that you can give it a try. If you have EmpresaVM/Mia installed
I'll send it back so that you can compare the speed difference on your own
    machines).

Since you said that's an MvCALL the difference might not that big due to the
network overhead. But for the parsing part it'll probably be significant.

Just make sure you got rid of the macros and FMDs.

    Markus
