    Line 1 & Line 2

A while back Miva Engineers suggested the solution of using Line 1 for the Customers name and Line 2 for the Company Name.

The problem is that Stamps.Com uses the information from QB to print the Shipping Labels BUT the Customer's Name and Company Name is being repeated in Stamps.Com 'Address Field" because of the Line 1 & Line 2. So when we delete the repeated Customer Name and Company Name from Stamps.Com's Address Field, the shipping label is then printed correctly BUT that also eliminates the Customer's Name and Company Name from the Ship To box in QB.

It seems like the Line 1 & Line 2 was a local solution for Miva but not a logical solution for other programs that use such information.

    1. Is anyone experiencing this problem with other program's integrations?
    2. Can Miva provide me with an effective way to display the Company Name?
    3. If such problem is caused by QB field definition, then can Miva coordinate with QB?

    Bob,

I know sometimes is easier to Cut & Paste but by bringing up the issue to Miva engineers, QB engineers and Stamps.com engineers might eventually correct this slow and inefficient integration.

    Elaine,

We have found the integration between the QuickBooks address book and
Stamps.com so slow, that it has been quicker for us to simply cut and
paste the address into the Stamps.com address window. Sad to say our
productivity went way up when we started doing that.
